Jameel has been a long time resident of the 'Burns Rd' area and attests that 'people from all over come to enjoy the variety of delicious foods.'Built by the British and perfected by the Pakistanis, 'Burns Rd' is the heart of all that is delicious. Officially known as Muhammad bin Qasim Rd, its lines of street-food stalls are endless, selling everything from papri and pakoras to jalebis and gulab jamun. Iftar during Ramadan is not complete without the food from the 'Burns Rd' area. After partition in 1947, immigrants from India, and other neighboring countries, settled in the surrounding area and brought with them their world famous foods.
